So let’s go over to the badminton, where Tokyo 2020 gold medallist Axelsen is one game up in his match against Nhat Nguyen (IRL). 

Axelsen, who was world champion in 2022, is attempting to join Lin Dan (CHN) (2008-2012) as the only men who have retained their Olympic men’s singles title in badminton.
