Swimming: Kristóf Milák wins men’s 100 fly gold

Okay, time for the first final in the pool tonight: the men’s 100m butterfly.

The fastest qualifier is Kristóf Milák of Hungary, looking for gold after having been pipped in the 200 by Léon Marchand.

But this French crowd won’t let him have it easy: Maxime Grousset starts next to him in lane five, and will get a massive cheer.

Milák gets a nice start as does Joshua Liendo of Canada, and Nyls Korstanje of Netherlands who leads 50.

Liendo ahead now with 20m to go but here comes Milák!

Kristóf Milák just barely touches home ahead of Liendo!

49.90, from Liendo 49.99, and Ilya Kharun makes it two Canadians on the podium in 50.45!
