Badminton: Defending champs Lee/Wang (TPE) win gold again
What a story this is in badminton. After winning gold at Tokyo 2020, Chinese Taipei’s Lee Yang and Wang Chi-lin struggled with injury and health issues.
But they’ve come all the way back to the top of their game and today retained their Olympic title in a narrow three-game victory over the top seeds Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang of People’s Republic of China, 21-17, 18-21, 21-19.
Congrats to them!
Malaysia’s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, the 2022 world champions, won bronze earlier.
