Wrestling: USA’s Amit Elor wins women’s freestyle 68kg gold
The first women’s wrestling gold of Paris 2024 has gone to Amit Elor representing the USA.
She scored a 3-0 victory by points against Kyrgyzstan’s Meerim Zhumanazarova, who becomes the first Kyrgyz athlete to win two Olympic medals in any sport.
Bronzes went to Türkiye’s Buse Cavusoglu and Ozaki Nonoka of Japan.
