Athletics: Lyles through to final behind Tebogo

The men’s 200m final field is set, and Noah Lyles‘s chase of up to four gold medals here in Paris continues.

Lyles, the 100m champion, was second in his semi-final behind Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo, having decided not to go with his opponent and easing up when comfortably in second place.

He is one of three U.S. sprinters in the final, alongside Kenny Bednarek and Erriyon Knighton.

Africa will have strong representation in the final: alongside Tebogo, Zimbabwe’s Tapiwanashe Makarawu and Makanakaishe Charamba and Liberia’s Joseph Fahnbulleh have qualified.

Dominican Republic’s Alexander Ogando completes the final.
