Weightlifting: Olivia Reeves sets snatch Olympic record en route to women’s 71kg gold
Gold and a new Olympic record (snatch) in the women’s 71kg weightlifting to USA’s Olivia Reeves!
She lifts 117kg in the snatch for the new mark, and adds 145kg in the clean and jerk for a total of 262kg.
That puts her ahead of Colombia’s Mari Leivis Sánchez on 257 and Angie Paola Palacios of Ecuador on 256.
