Lasha Talakhadze can now call himself a three-time Olympic champion!
In three consecutive Olympic Games, he has won the heaviest men’s weight category.
The Georgian lifted 215kg in the snatch and 255kg in the clean & jerk for a total of 470kg.
Armenia’s Varazdat Lalayan takes silver on 467kg, while Gor Minasyan representing Bahrain wins bronze on 461kg.
