Artistic gymnastics: Rebeca Andrade wins women’s floor exercise gold, Biles takes silver

The emotions are pouring out at the Arena Bercy as Rebeca Andrade becomes the first Brazilian to win a women’s floor exercise gold medal ever with a score of 14.166. It’s her 6th Olympic medal, which means she’s now the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil.

Simone Biles of Team USA rebounded from a disappointing balance beam performance earlier today to take silver, and her 11th Olympic medal overall, with 14.133.

Biles’ compatriot Jordan Chiles wins bronze with 13.766. It’s her first individual Olympic medal, and the tears are flowing.
