Canada keeps both hammer throw world and Olympic titles, men and women, as Camryn Rogers‘ fifth throw of 76.97m was enough to overtake early leader Annette Echikunwoke of USA!
The U.S. thrower’s best was 75.48m, while People’s Republic of China’s Zhao Jie won bronze on 74.27m.
Three-time defending champion Anita Wlodarczyk from Poland finished fourth.
