Basketball: Germany reach quarter-finals with win over Japan
Germany’s women’s basketball team are competing at their first Olympic Games, and have followed up their stunning win against defending European champions Belgium with a 75-64 win over Tokyo 2020 silver medallists Japan! They’re now guranteed to go through to the quarter-finals, even with one group game remaining against the USA.
WNBA star Satou Sabally (GER) had a monster game with 33 points and 6 rebounds.
