Woosh! That is fast from Fuksa, the world champion in the 1000m.
The 31-year-old paddles his way over the line in 3:43.16….and that’s an Olympic best! A great effort from Fuksa, who wins gold ahead of Tokyo 2020 champion Isaquias Queiroz (BRA) in second and Serghei Tarnovschi (MDA) in third.
