Canoe sprint: People’s Rep. of China win men’s canoe double 500m gold!
2023 world silver medallists Ji Bowen and Liu Hao (CHN) were fast off the line and in first place at the 250m mark, almost two seconds ahead of Italians Gabriele Casadei and Carlo Tacchini. They would retain their advantage right through the finish line to take gold in a rapid time of 1:39.48.
Silver goes to Casadei and Tacchini, with Joan Antoni Moreno and Diego Dominguez (ESP) claiming bronze.
