Table tennis: Legend Timo Boll bows out
It’s the end of a storied international career as Germany‘s men are knocked out of the table tennis team competition.
Timo Boll, a seven-time Olympian and four-time Olympic medallist, had announced ahead of time that Paris 2024 would be his last international competition at 43.
But he was unable to help Germany score a point today as Sweden recorded a 3-0 win.
Sweden advance to face Japan in the semi-finals.
