3X3: USA lose to Australia, remain winless
This is a bit of a shock.
Three-time World Cup champions and Tokyo 2020 gold medallists USA have just lost 15-17 to Australia in the women’s competition, meaning they sit bottom in the pool with three losses from three games.
There’s still time to turn things around, as France, with one win after three games, currently occupy the final play-in spot.
But they need to get a win on the board quickly. They play pool leaders Spain later this evening.
