Handball: Norway win women’s gold!
What a superb defensive effort from the Norwegians, who limited France to just eight goals in the second half, to win gold!
Katrine Lunde was sensastional in the Norway goal, saving 12 shots, while Henny Reistand found the back of the French net on eight different occassions.
Norway deservedly win 29-21 and now tie Denmark for most gold medals in the competition’s history with three.
