Marathon swimming: Kristof Rasovszky (HUN) wins men’s 10km gold!

He finished second in Tokyo, but he wins gold in Paris!

Rasovszky took the lead for good at the 6.6km mark and never relinquished it as Wellbrock started to fade. But it’s another German – Oliver Klemet – who powered through the field to take silver, about two seconds behind Rasovszky.

And we have a bit of history as Rasovszky’s compatriot David Betlehem finishes third, making the Paris 2024 event the first in which two athletes from the same NOC (Hungary) finish on top of the podium in men’s marathon swimming.

🥇Kristof Rasovszky (HUN): 1:50:52.7
🥈Oliver Klemet (GER): 1:50:54.8
🥉David Betlehem (HUN): 1:51:09.0
