Cycling BMX Racing: Beth Shriever likely into final
Speaking of the BMX Racing, women’s defending champion Beth Shriever of Great Britain has won the first two runs of the semi-finals and is likely into the final at 9:50pm tonight.
Shriever is good friends with track cyclist Emma Finucane, who recently spoke to us about it:
"She’s a huge role model for me. She’s taught me so much, like how to be an athlete, and how to be ‘Emma off the bike’. I need to be happy and that will help me channel my ‘Emma on the bike’.
"So she’s taught me so much and I’ve really looked up to her and she’s taken me under her wing."
