Rowing: Oliver Zeidler (GER) wins men’s single sculls gold!
A dominant performance from the three-time world champion, who powers home through the 2000m course in just 6:37.57 – more than five seconds clear of Yauheni Zalaty (AIN) in second.
It’s the first medal for Germany in this event since Sydney 2000.
Bronze goes to Simon van Dorp (NED), claiming the first medal for the Netherlands in this event since 1968.
