Sailing: Italy win mixed multihull gold!
Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti are back-to-back Olympic champions!
The Italians new they essentially needed to have a clean showing and not finish too low in the medal race to take the gold, and that’s exactly what they did, finishing second to claim the title.
Silver goes to the Argentinian crew of Mateo Majdalani and Eugenia Bosco, while Micah Wilkinson and Erica Dawson‘s win New Zealand its first medal in this event with bronze.
