What a Games this has been in the velodrome for Portugal – a day after taking men’s omnium silver, they have Madison gold!
They score 55 points – 35 from sprints and 20 for gaining a lap – to clinch the Olympic title.
Silver went to Italy on 47 (27 sprint and a lap gained), with Denmark taking bronze on 41 (21 sprint and a lap gained).
