Triathlon: Women’s race kicks off Day 5 action at Paris 2024
Good morning and welcome to a bit of a wet Paris following some rain this morning – not the best conditions for most sports, but hopefully it won’t matter to the triathletes taking part in the women’s race this morning!
That event has just started with a 1.5km swim in the River Seine., followed by a 40km bike portion and finising up with a 10km run.
There are plenty of athletes to watch in this event, including:
Tokyo 2020 champion Flora Duffy (BER), world No.1 Cassandre Beaugrand (FRA), and 2023 World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) champion Beth Potter (GBR).
