History in the pool for Spain!
They’ve won their first ever Olympic title in women’s water polo after out-duelling Australia 11-9 at the La Défense Arena.
The game was more or less over with 1:50 to go as the Spaniards led 11-6, with three late Aussie goals not enough to turn the tide.
Australia leave with silver.
