Badminton: Knockout draws confirmed

The end of badminton singles group play today, plus the first knockout rounds in doubles, means we now have a clear picture of the knockout brackets.

Notably, due to their positions in their respective mixed doubles groups, the People’s Republic of China first and second seeds Zheng Siwei / Huang Yaqiong and Feng Yanzhe / Huang Dongping were drawn against each other today – which top seeds Zheng and Huang won 21-16, 21-15.

But it opens up the semi-final draw in that event.
